NHPC Recruitment 2013 – Apply Online for 180 Trainee Engineer Posts: National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) has issued notification for recruitment of the 180 Trainee Engineer in the disciplines of Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. Eligible candidates who have appeared in Gate-2014 can apply online from 07-01-2014 to 21-01-2014. Name of the Posts:
1.Trainee Engineer (Civil): 25 Posts
2.Trainee Engineer (Electrical): 130 Posts
3. Trainee Engineer (Mechanical): 25 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates maximum age limit should not exceed 30 years as on 01-04-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology / B.Sc. (Engineering). Degree in relevant discipline of Engineering from recognized Indian University / Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
How to Apply:Eligible candidates who are interested to join in NHPC should appear in GATE-2014. Interested candidates who have passed the eligibility qualification can apply online at NHPC Limited website http://www.nhpcindia.com/career.htm after obtaining the registration number for GATE-2014. Candidates can apply for GATE-2014 through the website http://www.gate.iitkgp.ac.in/gate2014 or websites of IISc, Bangalore or IITs of Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee.

Age Limit: Candidates should possess upper age limit of 30 years as on 01-07-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess full time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ B.Sc. (Engineering) Degree from recognizedIndianUniversity with one year experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.
